


Replaced passenger front window today after a fuel spill on the original.

Installed the elevator trim motor today and tested. Installed tail feather end caps.
Completed the fuel plumbing into the header tank from wings.





Starting to receive aircraft parts back from the painter. Super impressed with the finish.
Today working on the Jury Struts and inspection cover plates




Continuing with rigging today along with the install of elevator trim servo.


Wings On
Mounted the 2 wings on the aircraft today. Took all day to make sure and the angles and numbers were perfect.

Elevator Trim Servo Wired
Decided to remove the manual elevator trim system and replace with electric ray allen servo controlled by the MGL SP10. Works well.

Wiring Tidy - Rear Window In


Completed the majority of the outstanding wiring today in the avionics bay and up to the baggage area ceiling. Installed rear baggage window. Cut out remaining internal cockpit floor covers.
Port Wing lower skin fitting
Starting to install the bottom skins on the 2nd wing today.


Tail Feathers Fairings



Today we worked on the fairings around the vertical and horizontal stabilizers
Tail Feathers on and seats arrived
Over the last 4 days Dad and I install the tailplane, elevator, vertical fin and rudder. We also received the seats back from upholstery .






Wrapping the nose skin & Internal Wiring

Starting the wings - Right first


With the help of David Campbell, Dad has started the right wing. Looking good after just 2 days.
Elevator Construction
Fuselage is out of Dads shed, now we start work on the elevator.








Relocation of Fuselage
Today we loaded the fuselage on a trailer and relocated it down to my hangar at Sandfly to continue the build.





Front Windscreens In
We fitted the front windscreens today. Went in easier then expected.

Interior Painting
Painted the remaining interior so fit out can continue. Interior colour is the same as outside “Nardo Grey”

Propellor Mounted


Our 4 bladed #airmaster propellor has arrived. Today we installed the hub and the slip ring bracket and sensor.
Brake System
Plumbed the brake lines today into the parking brake

Panel Fitout

Extended the wires and fitted the joystick handle.
